Day 2 – Growing Pains and Other Musings

Today’s post reflects an experiment in stream-of-consciousness writing…please follow along….
Outside of class, I am learning to manage my email. I was overwhelmed by the volume of messages I was getting from our class listserve. I toyed with the idea of changing my email address so that my home account would not be flooded with our chatter (excuse me…exchange of ideas)…instead, I created a folder nested in my Inbox (Outlook) and created a rule sending our messages to this folder…voila…organization!
Sooner or later, I will gain perspective on what I have been learning in this class. Today, I was reacquainted with Vygotsky’s theory of zones of proximal development (ZPD). I can see how his theory applies to our current studies….I am so glad we have the chance to work with different groups. I enjoy developing relationships.
