Exploring the blogosphere

I have spent much of the evening exploring the blogs of educators. I am encouraged by what I have been finding. Pat Sine’s blog pointed me to an article about a new school in Philadadelphia. “No more teachers, no more books” has me thinking about the school of the future. I have also discovered a teacher who uses blogs as a vehicle to involve her Language Arts students in conversations about the literature they have read. One post has over 200 comments from students and others who have visited Smith’s 9th Honors Class Blog.
